Welcome to the Fourth Annual Baja California International Aerospace Supplier Forum, August 29th 2013, the premier Business to Business event in northwest Mexico for the Aerospace and Defense Industry. In this fourth edition the event will be larger and in a better setting, it will be held within Baja California Center, one of Latin America’s newest convention centers.

In the last 10 years exports have grown over 15 times, from 270 million in 2001 to an estimated 4.3 billion in aircraft parts in 2011, and it is expected to double within 5 years. Mexico’s Near-Shore platform facilitates engineering, intellectual property protection, quality control and safety certification, especially for the manufacture of sensitive products to National Security of several countries.

Baja California has over 50 aerospace and defense companies, which represent about 25% of all companies within Mexico that manufacture and assemble parts and components for this sector. Most of these companies are located in the cities of Tijuana and Mexicali, with immediate access to California and the west coast of the United States.
